HW#3: due 9/12/14 Read pages 4-11 in textbook and define science, scientific theory, scientific law and system in your science journal. Also bring back tear off from the welcome letter.
HW#4: due 9/16/14 Read pages 12-16 in textbook and define life science, earth science, physical science, technology, and hypothesis. Definitions to be done in your science journals. Also a current event article is Due Friday 9/18/14.
HW#5: due 9/17/14 Read pages 16-20 in your textbook and define independent variable, dependent variable and constant in your science journals.
HW#6: due 9/18/14 Define- infer, controlled experiment and variable in your science journals.
HW#7: due 9/19/14 Current event science article. Please complete and follow the instructions that are on the handout that was given. Remember to double check the Rubric that is on the back and all sections are completed. This homework assignment will be graded.
HW#8: Please study for chapter 1 sections 1&2 quiz. Please look at your text book, notes, definitions and all handouts that were give. The Quiz will be given Wednesday September 24, 2014.

Please remember to complete the assignment and the rubric on the back. Also remembering to fill out the definitions, graph and attach the article to the handout.

HW# 15: Due Friday 10/17 define- organism, cell, homeostasis on index cards. This will become a helpful study tool for quizzes and tests.
HW# 16: Due Monday 10/20- Please define binomial nomenclature, genus, phylogeny, kingdom on index cards. This will give you flashcards which will become a useful study tool for this chapter. Put the word on one side and write the definition on the reverse side of the index card.

Each correct answer is worth 1 point maximum of 5 total points.
